RISK & COMPLIANCE
Disciplined risk management. Responsible trading.
Risk management supports our commercial decisions and transaction execution. We assess price exposure, counterparties and contractual requirements, supported by market information, legal advice where appropriate and internal approval controls.
PRICE RISK MANAGEMENT
Price exposure assessed and hedged where appropriate
We assess commodity price exposure arising from physical trades and use hedging where appropriate to manage the effect of market movements. Hedging decisions reflect the structure, pricing period and exposure of each transaction.
Hedging institutions & registrations
When a position is hedged, KB OIL executes it through its registrations with the exchange, brokers and clearing providers shown below.
